It’s Christmastime!

20161205_113812Hi Friends — Fall has just kind of dissolved into Winter here at my house. We’ve had snow twice already and it’s not even officially Winter yet. Our newest family member, Frank, had always been an indoor kitty until he came to live with us in late October. Since then he has discovered a whole world of trees to climb, and meadows and woods to explore. Our first snowfall last week was his first snowfall ever. The picture here shows Frank ogling the white stuff in our front yard. He was fascinated.

In my writing world, I’ve completed the first round of edits on Hawk’s Promise, which will be published by Beachwalk Press this coming spring. I can’t wait to see the gorgeous cover they come up with. Although Beachwalk will be publishing the e-book version, I’m considering offering a printed version on my own. More about that at a later date.

Heating up the Holidays, the anthology containing my story, Ringing in the New, is selling well this holiday season. This anthology will only be available through January, then it will disappear forever. Here’s the Amazon buy link. (Ringing in the New will be available later this year as a stand-alone novella, the first story in my Everfield series.)  And I’m at the halfway mark in Making Merri, the first full-length book in that series.  So, lots going on right now. Which is good.

We’ll be getting our Christmas tree this weekend and decorating the house. Then we’ll no doubt get swept up in gift buying, wrapping, food preparations and all the other holiday fun. I probably won’t make it back here till the New Year. Let me take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful holiday season, no matter how you choose to celebrate it.

Thanks for stopping in.
