Spring is Here

by Nola on March 12, 2015

20150309_120400Everywhere in the Pacific Northwest, spring is in evidence. I took this shot outside the bank the other day, and this blossom-covered tree is no oddity. There are pink and white trees all over the place. We have a little orchard at our house, and our pear trees are already in bloom too. Early bloom usually means no fruit, because the bees normally don’t wake up in March. But our orchard is full of pollinators this year. I’m happy they heard Nature’s call and got up early.

I can’t believe my friends back east are still dealing with inches and inches (and feet!) of snow. So sorry, friends. This weather is crazy! Maybe next year we’ll swap places and you guys will be the ones with the scent of blossoms in the air. ┬áIt’s only fair.

On the writing front, the time change kicked my butt. I’ve been unable to haul myself out of bed early enough to get any writing done this week. I’ve decided just to cut myself some slack and hope next week is better. Meanwhile, I’m working on content edits for A Hint of Heaven. There’s always something I can be doing.

I hope you’re having a great week. Thanks for stopping by.
